The "other people" you refer to probably constitute about 10% of the population, perhaps even less. The masses work in a mind-numbingly mundane job because the money is good or a painfully difficult job because they NEED the money. Show me more than 10 out of 100 people you know working absolutely ideal jobs then I'll become a believer!
I agree. Easy for her to say. Famous billionaire talk show celebrity. I like my job, and I'm fortunate. I know I'm fortunate. I know so many people in jobs they hate. I take her point as being that you need to work to make it happen.
@RB Hello there! Rob is it? Thank you for the comment! Oh sure, I agree with her. But I personally believe that a good amount of volatile luck MUST ensue. One wrong decision in life can lead to a course of life one never intended to take. And Oprah forgets the existence of the poorest people in the world, AND war stricken countries, AND famine wrecked countries, AND countries wrought by corruption! Even privileged people in utterly hopeless circumstances falter!
